Read my Part I and Part II.
This post is mainly about our trip to Fremantle.
Basically the arts centre has different theme from time to time. And this was the theme when I went – Bali: Return Economy. Hope you enjoy my photos. :P Actually I am quite embarrassed to share these photos lah cox I never read the descriptions to know what the art works really mean.
I really like this two pigs! So adorable!
Girl version. HAHA. FYI their name is called Globabisasi 2013. PS: babi means pig in Indonesian.
The above 2 babis combine to become this one HAHA. Eh wait, both of them are girls :X My bad :P.
I have never been to Indonesia. But I heard this bakso is a must-try in Bali?
This is Bakso. WOW LOOKS YUMMY LEH!! I WANT!! Image courtesy of Wikipedia.
I have no 艺术细胞 (art cells HAHAHA I guess means artistic) so these are random sketches?
Cute babi surfing board.
Some rituals preparation? HEHEH
Mannequin. See the art work behind? Very scaryyyyyy!!!! Got two similar pieces in different places.
Really scare the hell out of me. :O
White dress on white model.
This pair looks like those ancient Chinese boots and got modified to become heels.
In the same room as the dresses and boots, Ryan and I found this place, looks a little creepy so I asked him to pose soullessly. He quite pro huh, my pose turned out quite bad! Like my thigh
spreads out to become an Australian map (JOKING LAH LOLOL).
Another creepy place!! As if something is there sitting (OI STOP SAYING LAHHH). But actually it’s quite bright, just that my S3 did a bad job showing.
Okay, here ends my Fremantle Arts Centre trip.
Took Fremantle’s free CAT bus to the Western Australian Maritime Museum.
First thing first, visit the Submarine!!! My first time seeing a submarine in real, and entering one too!
Photo taking is allowed in the submarine. However my hands shook too much and I got no one clear photo to show. Anyway, the inside of the submarine is very very very very hot and stuffy. A lot of cool stuff inside. A lot of meters and controls. Also they have super cramped beds and toilets. In conclusion, the submarine looks big but the inside is like a narrow cylinder. Not fun lah I think cox I’m super not into this kind of thing.
View from inside the museum.
Later we took the free CAT bus again and walked through a few streets. We were super tired when we finally reached this place. FOR FOOD!!
Cicerella’s – claimed to serve the best fish and chips in WA. Go go let’s try!
By when the food was taken before us, we were too hungry and finished all before I realised I haven’t taken a picture. I don’t know if it is because I do not eat fish and chips so often, I find the one served here quite tasteless. I prefer the 8 South Street one better. :X
It’s okay cox I have better photos to show!
If I got my ‘自拍神器” with me that day then I would be in the photo :'(
The trees there hor, I think can be a scene for movies, like a witch riding a broom and fly in there. LOL
Guess where we were?
Got a lot of cool leftovers? from wrecked ships. A lot of them are from long long time ago. Quite cool! Should go in and see.
Place we chilled in the evening. This kind of weather is just perfect, windy and chilly. We have hot and humid weather in Kuching so I really appreciate the weather there!
Nice right? But this slope we dare not roll down, scared to get killed LOL
